Well people, for all intents and purposes, Missing Briefcase is OUT! Of course, it’s not available on CD Baby and iTunes yet, but it will be. Soon. In the meantime, you can contact me (at alex[at]alexarrowsmith.com) if you would like to make arrangements for receiving a copy for $10. I am super excited about this album. I’m also super sick of it, but I definitely ended up with the sound and look I was going for. Now come, world. Come.

Don’t forget about my record release shows as well! It’s January 14 at Backspace and January 22/24 (confirmation pending) at Holocene. Check out the shows page for the details. Then come.

Applewine is now available on iTunes! Click here to open it in your iTunes program. If you don’t have iTunes, you can join the 21st century by downloading it for free from Apple’s site. So if you don’t want a full CD and just want the “hits” (even though EVERY song on Applewine is a hit), your wishes have now been granted by the Steve Jobs Fairy. Hello friends and neighbors! Applewine is now out and available on CD Baby for you to cradle and caress in your arms. You can listen to high quality 2-minute samples on the page, so I won’t tire my brain trying to think of another pitch line. I do think it’s the best thing I’ve done yet. I’m quite proud of it. It’s a great pop album, and I am all about the pop. But it’s not boring top 40 pop or anything–it’s got some bite. It’s fizzy. It has carbonation.

It is only obtainable through CD Baby at the moment, but it will be on iTunes and other download stores in a week or two.

I received the finished Applewine today! I’m sending them off to CD Baby tomorrow, so they will be available in a few days. I will update as soon as they are. It’s a beautiful CD; a far cry from the photocopy art days of yore. I can’t wait to spread its wild oats.
