Mystery album: imminent.

Hey. I’m going to start working on the new album in earnest pretty soon. Who is Earnest anyway? I bet he’s pretty important. Well, I have decided on 15 songs that I will record, so there should be that many at the most (one or two might not make the cut). And I’ll probably write a good hit or two before it’s done too, so there’s that factor too. It should be really good. I’m really excited about it. I think it’s going to be the best yet, but try telling that to the people who still buy A Bunch Of Songs like it’s going out of style (it is). Well, if I’d never heard “The Shark Was Coming At Me But Then It Blew Up” before, I’d nab it right quick too.

I’m still hashing out arrangement and form details right now (and finally nailing down a decent bridge for “Plains Of Mostly Still Life”), but I should start recording next month I’d say. Oh, I’m also playing three songs at the Edgefield McMenamins in Troutdale next Thursday (June 1). It’s a reception for the MHCC arts journal thing. I’m on the CD again this year. I think it’s free, too. COME.
